The braking system

Brake friction
Our range of brake friction parts includes brake pads, brake discs, brake shoes and brake drums. We supplement these components with the associated fitting kits and wear indicator leads. We have a variety of brands available to you, from premium, globally acclaimed manufacturers, to high-quality aftermarket suppliers, all of whom meet or exceed the vehicle manufacturer's specifications and provide warranties to match. As you would expect, all of our brake pads and shoes are ECE R90 approved.
Brake hydraulics
We also stock a complete range of vehicle brake hydraulics including brake calipers, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, pipe fittings and fluids. At Pentland, we believe in doing our part to help make the world a greener place. To that end, we have teamed up with Brake Engineering, one of the UK’s leading brake caliper remanufacturers, to bring you a high-quality remanufactured product at a very competitive price and covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty. All of their brake calipers come with new pistons, springs, actuation parts and seals, with all parts manufactured on-site using the latest CNC machines to ensure premium quality. New rubber components are fitted only after being subjected to stringent quality inspection. All units are subject to multi-stage high and low-pressure tests, similar to those used by original equipment suppliers.
